2In this section, the concerns of women and society are explored. From the young woman formally joining Jewish society as an adult at her Bat Mitzvah to the woman who may master certain halakhic knowledge and tradition to the point of being regarded as a halakhic adjudicator, the relevance of these issues today are evident. These discussions can set the stage for coming generations of Torah scholars, as they seek both halakhic and meaningful applications of the Law.
